În aceeaşi limbă

Rîde un pămînt.

Şi doar in limba ta

Durerea poţi s-o mîngîi,

Iar bucuria

S-o preschimbi în cînt.

În limba ta

Ţi-e dor de mama,

Şi vinul e mai vin,

Şi prînzul e mai prînz.

Şi doar în limba ta

Poţi rîde singur,

Şi doar in limba ta

Te poţi opri din plîns.10

Iar cînd nu poţi

Nici plînge şi nici rîde,

Cînd nu poţi mîngîia

Şi nici cînta,

Cu-al tău pămînt,

Cu cerul tău in faţă,

Tu taci atuncea

Tot în limba ta.

Tu,în ce limbă plîngi?
